Three services, one consistent approach
Each service is structured to work alone or in sequence — depending on how much involvement you would like from us.
← Home— Our Methodology —
How we approach every project
Our work follows a consistent sequence regardless of scope: we listen carefully before we draw anything; we document decisions clearly before anyone builds anything; and we stay engaged through execution rather than disappearing after the design phase. These are not extras — they are how we work.
The three services below represent different points of entry into that process. Some clients begin with the consultation only and carry the brief elsewhere. Others engage us for the full sequence from first conversation through final styling. Most find the Design Manuscript to be the natural starting point for a substantial project.
All work is conducted by the same small team. There are no junior staff assigned to manage a project while senior designers focus on winning new ones. The person you speak with at the outset is the person responsible for the work.
Service I
Opening Chapter Consultation
A narrative-driven first meeting to understand the story of your space — who lives there, how they use it, and what would make it feel more complete. Includes a site visit, a written assessment, and a curated selection of references.
This is not a brief design sketch or a quick walk-through. It is a considered process that results in a written document you can use — whether you engage us further or work with another team. For any residential or boutique commercial space.
- Half-day site visit with detailed observation notes
- Written spatial assessment — findings and opportunities
- Curated reference selection relevant to your brief
- Discussion of potential directions and relative priorities
- Delivered within one week of the visit

Service II
Design Manuscript
A rich, layered design package — spatial composition, material stories, furniture selection, lighting choreography, colour relationships, and 3D visualisation. Presented as a cohesive design narrative with detailed annotations.
Includes two revision sessions and a contractor specification set. For homes, heritage spaces, and refined commercial interiors. This is the document from which your space gets built. Its quality determines how closely the finished result matches the design intent.
- Spatial layout and composition drawings
- Material specification with sourcing notes
- Furniture selection with dimensions and suppliers
- Lighting plan and fixture specification
- 3D visualisation of key spaces
- Contractor specification set included
- Two structured revision sessions

Service III
Editorial Execution
Careful project guidance from construction through final detail — managing procurement, overseeing trades, checking quality, and concluding with a styling arrangement. Ensures the finished space reads as intended.
This service is for clients who want the design to actually arrive as designed — and who recognise that the gap between a good specification document and a well-executed space requires sustained attention. We stay alongside the project from the first contractor briefing to the last object in place.
- Contractor briefing and trade coordination
- Procurement management and supplier liaison
- Site visits at critical construction stages
- Quality verification against design specification
- Final styling and arrangement walk-through
- Snagging list and completion handover
